​​​​Bruce Schofield is a 24-year veteran law enforcement officer retired from San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department (SBCSD). Prior to his law enforcement career, Bruce worked for several different public safety agencies as an Ocean Lifeguard, Reserve Firefighter, Emergency Management Coordinator, Paramedic Coordinator and Reserve Coroner’s Investigator.

Bruce currently serves as President & CEO at BSA Security and Investigations, Inc.  Founded in 2015, BSA Security and Investigations, Inc. is a California licensed and insured professional security and investigation company specializing in anti-terrorism technologies and solutions.  BSA Security and Investigations is based in the Greater Los Angeles Area and serves both public and vetted private sectors.   

During the past 25-years, Bruce has worked as a canine handler, trainer and master trainer of explosive detection canine teams. During this time, he has certified over one thousand explosive detection canine teams from federal, state and local law enforcement agencies including ATF, CIA, DHS, FBI and USMS. During the past nine years, Bruce has assisted ATF personnel in the training and imprinting of hundreds of explosive detection canine teams from the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps at numerous military bases in both the CONUS and OCONUS prior to their deployment to Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa.

During his law enforcement career, Bruce has gained extensive training and experience in crime and intelligence analysis, criminal investigations, anti-terrorism, counter-terrorism, dignitary / executive protection, basic and advanced special weapons and tactics, critical infrastructure protection and emergency management. Bruce is a graduate of the California State University Crime and Intelligence Program and currently certified as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst by the State of California Department of Justice.
